Tailored Systems

Carina Leagues Club in QLD are always looking for better ways to engage with members and improve customer experiences while adhering to their hard worked for systems and processes.

POSCOM undertook a detailed requirements session with Carina to understand their vision for transaction advancements and member experiences. The workshop enabled Carina Leagues to communicate their vision so we understood the project goals.

Using SwiftPOS, HP Hardware and POSCOM expertise we implemented the SwiftPOS system to cater for Carina’s Back of House and Front of House requirements.

Carina Leagues now has a POS system that they understand - it works for their business, is implemented perfectly for their environment and delivers above their expectations.

Transaction Solutions

The transaction features in SwiftPOS are virtually endless which allowed us to design new transaction methods to meet Carina’s technology vision for POS.

We installed self order, all day menu kiosks which provided a new ordering technology to improve the customer experience and service.

We overhauled the way Carina’s Bistro, Bar and Cafe POS operated with an attention to flow and simplicity to achieve flexible and fast POS operation.

POSCOM implemented a gaming room service with SwiftPOS on tablets. These link back to Bar & Cafe production screens, ensuring staff know what member is at what machine and how long orders were pending.

This provides accountability for orders and improved service.

POS Integration

With so many technology and software solutions being installed into Clubs, it is critical that your POS is integration friendly without the need for development schedules and unplanned expenses.

At Carina we integrated SwiftPOS to Max Gaming with tiered loyalty points accrual and redemption. Micropower Accounts for their General Ledger, Impact Data for marketing & Business Intelligence, which enabled simplified views of data.

We are also currently working with Carina in utilising the SwiftPOS Web API to release a new exciting integration to an industry leading loyalty system.

POS Implementation

Carina Leagues take pride in their processes & systems as well as the aesthetics of their beautiful club. POSCOM were tasked with implementing dual drawers into the Club above the counter while maintaining the aesthetics of the HP Engage System.

We designed and manufactured proprietal custom dual drawer cash drawer shrouds for each lane, and designed a custom mounting solution for the HP Engage One Terminals to mount to the drawers.

The result was a stunning install with all peripherals off of the counters. Clerk RF readers were also integrated into the design as were customer facing card readers reducing contact with members during Covid 19. Each lane is completely movable as power supplies are housed in the cases and handles were incorporated into the sides.

POS Technology

The HP Engage ONE gives Carina a 5 year onsite HP warranty with an 80% onsite repair record managed by POSCOM, meaning HP techs come to Carina.

This service means Carina don’t have to pull apart their POS lanes to send off parts and wait for repairs to return. POSCOM arrange HP technicians to come onsite and undertake repairs resulting in less disruption for the Club.

The Engage Terminals also provide Carina with a 10 year guaranteed parts and service programme assuring Carina Leagues Club that these units can be serviced for the long haul, thereby maximising Carina’s investment.

POS Marketing

We installed our Voucher solution into Carina allowing them to create high quality graphical vouchers on silk tags. Carina used these vouchers to great effect in keeping engaged with members during lock down by implementing an online game. Winners were sent out vouchers to ensure the Carina Leagues Club was front of mind after Covid restrictions were lifted.

Post Covid, Carina use vouchers for all manner of promotions, remedies, bring backs, offers, stored value and discounts.
